From an early age, Brian was taught the importance of planning ahead and making financial decisions carefully. His father passed away when he was only 7 years old, and his mother had to find a way to provide for her young family with little education or outside support. While things were far from easy, Brian credits his mother’s smart money decisions and proclivity for saving as the main reasons they were able to get through those difficult times.

Brian learned early on how to work hard, and he grew up doing many odd jobs to earn money as a paperboy, busboy, waiter, and more. His mother would often tell him, “Work hard, save, invest, and most of all, you can be anything you want in life as long as you’re helping other people.”

These words were a guiding principle for Brian throughout much of his life. When he entered college, her advice about helping others, as well as her example of careful financial planning throughout his youth, inspired him to become a financial advisor. He wanted to help others protect themselves from similar unexpected circumstances through smart money decisions, as his mother did.

Brian attended the Harrisburg Area Community College for two years before entering the financial industry in 1993. He continued to attend the American College of Financial Services and the College for Financial Planning during this time, and has since earned numerous certifications, including AEP®, AIF®, ChFC®, CMFC®, CRPC®, CSA®, CLTC®, and LUTCF®. Brian continues to commit himself to updating his financial education at every opportunity, and is a dedicated lifelong learner.

With over 28 years of experience in the financial industry, Brian delivers a high level of expertise to his clients in areas ranging from investing to insurance planning. Helping his clients to solve problems and seeing them successfully achieve their goals is what drives Brian in his work each day, and his honest approach allows him to be an advisor, as well as a teacher, guide, and friend to each client.

Brian spent most of his life in the area and continues to live in Camp Hill, PA, with his wife, Kim, and their son, Caelan. The mother who worked so hard to provide for him is now in Brian’s care, and Kim provides much-needed support in tending to her needs. Brian’s family is everything to him, and they motivate him to work hard and help others every single day.

Brian enjoys boating, skiing, and working out, but can equally appreciate a quiet afternoon with a good book. He loves spending time with friends and family, and taking vacations with his loved ones. He spends much of his time coaching his son’s T-ball and soccer teams, and cheering him on as both a coach and a proud dad. He is a member of FPA, NAIFA, and EPC, and an avid contributor to the American Cancer Society and Alzheimer’s Association.

Brian’s ultimate goal in his personal and professional life is to know that he helped others, took nothing for granted, and worked hard to achieve his goals.

With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Vince helps his clients to identify gaps from not only a financial perspective, but a legal and accounting perspective as well. He also continues to apply the principles of communication and customer-focused service that he learned in his family’s business in his financial work today.

Vince was born and raised in central Pennsylvania and continues to live in this area with his wife, Jackie. Their daughter, Cory Ann, and her husband also live close by. Family is central in Vince’s life, and he spends much of his free time with his loved ones. He also enjoys travelling when he gets the opportunity to do so, but you’re most likely to find him out on the golf course on the weekends.

I was born and raised in Central PA. I’ve lived in the Camp Hill area almost my entire life. Since I was young, I’ve always been obsessed with stocks and learning how their markets function. When I first found out about the idea that you can make money with money, I was hooked. I started to take Economics classes in high school. Every day after school, I used to come home and look at stocks online and watch the news on the market. I would always try to pick a stock or two that I thought would go up and then check back in on it the next day. This is what eventually lead to my choice to major in Economics and is how I knew that I wanted to work in the financial sector.I have a passion for football, and from the time I was five up until the end of my senior season of college I have played every year season. Football has taught me so many things about life and created many comparisons for me between the sport and the financial industry.  Most importantly, football has taught me that it's not about how great an individual is, but rather how good are the people that surround them. Competition brings out the best in us and pushes us to find new limits and constantly better ourselves. Competition also teaches you how to fail and allows you to learn from your faults to become even stronger. This industry is very similar to the game of football. It takes a great team of people to be successful in the financial industry. Each person must become highly skilled in their role and trust that those around them or will do the same. Together, you make a powerhouse.

My Bio

Evan Shiley is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. While in college, Evan played four years of football where he earned MAC Academic Honor Roll. Evan started his Financial Career as an intern with KCA Wealth Management in June 2018 and continued his internship while attending Lebanon Valley. Upon Graduation, in May 2019 KCA presented an offer to Evan based on his work ethic and his fit for the current position available at the time as the newest addition to the team. Evan started his full-time career in May 2019 as a Wealth Planning Paraplanner.

He holds an Accredited Investment Fiduciary ( AIF®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), and Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP™) designations as well as the Series 7 and Series 66 Securities License, Life and Health insurance license in Pennsylvania.

Jim’s career in wealth management spans more than three decades. He has built a diverse background in pension, tax planning, estate planning, financial planning, and investments. 

His financial experience started with Principal Financial Group where he served as a pension underwriter/pension issue specialist and an analyst at Principal Global Investors from 1995 to 2003. There, he worked with defined contribution plans, including profit sharing, 401(k) profit sharing, and money purchase plans. During his time as an analyst, his most extensive analysis was with oil and gas companies where he had lead coverage of the energy industry, initially with domestic and then branching out to include international companies. 

 

Jim has earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. While he does not currently practice tax or public accounting, he did have his own tax practice for five years before he decided to concentrate on investments. He still uses this background to help clients with their overall financial planning and to tailor investments appropriately to optimize their mix of taxable and tax-deferred/tax-free investments. 

 

Jim’s academic background includes graduating from the University of Iowa in May of 1993 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting. He also earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Iowa with a finance emphasis in December of 1999. Jim earned his CFA® designation in 2001. 

Jim and his wife Melissa have 2 children, Nicholas and Stephanie. Jim is active in the community. He serves as Treasurer of Central Iowa Shelter & Services and has served on the board of Junior Achievement, the Investment Committee of United Way of Central Iowa, and the Investment Committee of the United Way Emerging Leaders Initiative. He currently volunteers at the University of Iowa, serving as an Investment Advisory Board Member of the University of Iowa Krause Fund.

In the 1990s, Jared was instrumental in the founding and successful growth of an internet service provider that was later sold to a national provider. Jared also worked as a business analyst and derivatives broker before entering the wealth management profession.

 

Jared’s experience in data analytics and research has enhanced the technologically intensive elements of the financial, estate, tax, and investment planning disciplines. His responsibilities as an advisor span the breadth of these areas and, within the investment planning realm, also include portfolio construction and management, asset allocation, and individual investment selection.

 

He has developed diverse research pursuits in the areas of behavioral finance, portfolio theory, economic history, and macroeconomic analysis. Jared has particular interest in security analysis within the information technology and healthcare spaces. In an ancillary role for investment evaluation and selection, he is responsible for leading the development and ongoing refinement of a proprietary quantitative screening model that examines the fundamental and technical components of individual securities. 

Jared is an active participant in volunteer activities. He enjoys working at local shelters and has volunteered time for various hospitals and the United Way. He is closely involved in the Disque Foundation, supporting the mission to advance and provide healthcare education to underserved areas, both domestic and abroad. Jared is an avid reader. He and his wife Lisa enjoy gardening and travel.

A native of Norway, Arild has three decades of institutional investment experience both as an analyst and as a portfolio manager covering US and international companies. He has experience working for large mutual funds, pension funds, and a large sovereign wealth fund in various countries. 

Arild attended the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in England, where he earned a degree in Management Sciences with Honors before getting his MBA with an emphasis in Finance at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He sat for the Chartered Financial Analyst exams earning the CFA® designation. 

Arild started out as a financial analyst in Denver over 26 years ago where he covered several industries; however, most of his focus has been on the energy and material sectors. In his buy-side career, Arild has lived in multiple cities including Denver, San Francisco, and Des Moines in the US where he worked for Principal Financial Group, first as an analyst and later as a Portfolio Manager running a large US Value fund. From Des Moines, Arild moved to Abu Dhabi in the UAE where he worked for ADIA, one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world. He worked as a portfolio manager covering US oil and gas companies and co-managing a global energy and utility fund. To be closer to his European roots, Arild moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands to be employed with the largest pension fund in the Netherlands, APG Asset Management, where he co-managed a developed market energy and utility fund.

 

Arild and his wife, Marty, currently reside in Florida, where they enjoy spending time together. Arild is an avid golfer. Both Arild and Marty enjoy traveling and have visited over 40 countries on six continents, willingly missing Antarctica. Arild is also an advanced snow skier, likes the outdoors, and loves to read with a focus on history and current global affairs.

Phyllis graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Industrial Administration in 1978. She was awarded the CFA® designation in 1985. 

 

Phyllis serves on the Investment Committee as the Chief Financial Strategist and helped establish an equity model. The equity model is a specialized approach that considers quantitative valuation comparisons, as well as fundamental research. 

 

Phyllis has volunteered with professional development efforts, helping CFA candidates and university students develop skills in financial analysis. I was born in West Palm Beach, Florida while my mom was visiting family, that was a trip!  When we returned to Pennsylvania my parents purchased their first home in Elizabethtown. Unfortunately, they later learned they were unable to have any more children. It was then they decided to start participating in foster care to help children that needed a loving home and environment. This service led to the adoption of my brother. My parents opened their home to many children in need, which led to my desire to help people in any way possible.

When I entered the workforce, I was immediately introduced to the benefit of saving for retirement. I learned about how getting started investing at an early age can make a huge difference versus waiting to get started investing later in life. KCA recognized Dylan’s strong work ethic and discipline and, upon graduating from Lebanon Valley College as a Dean’s List scholar, invited him to join the team on a full-time basis as a Wealth Management Associate. When Dylan is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and attending sporting events such as football and baseball. Although Nate’s major is in a different field, he has taken the time on his own to study and gain valuable knowledge in his new field. Nate has already passed the PA Life, Accident, Health exam, and will continue to study for the next exams. Nate started an internship in April 2023 at KCA Wealth Management. This internship began by Nate emailing KCA to network for career opportunities. Nate was made an offer and humbly accepted to begin his career. Continuing to grow as an individual and an employee will be a primary focus as Nate begins on this career path. 

In his free time, Nate enjoys being outside on hikes and playing sports. Nate is also an avid gym enthusiast and horror movie fan. A fun fact about Nate is that he can name the college almost every NBA player went to. Nate is ecstatic to join the KCA team and looks forward to growing in this career.

Born and raised in Dillsburg PA, Justin went to college in Baltimore.  Graduating with a degree in sound design & audio production sound, he then briefly worked at a recording studio producing music.

Justin started his financial journey in Baltimore with a specialization in financial well-being and education for underserved communities. While in Baltimore, Justin would visit elementary schools to teach our young about basic personal finances, such as savings and budgeting. 

He then moved to the Harrisburg area and became a Teller at M&T. Justin quickly transitioned to focus on Small Business Development and Lending. Over a seven-year period, Justin was promoted first to Relationship Manager and then Branch Manager, demonstrating his superb client service skills. Justin continued to give back by participating in community activities for the Lion’s Club of Harrisburg.  

After a 4-year stint with Fulton Bank, Justin decided to try and find a new role that focused more on being able to utilize his client service skills and be able to have a more personal connection with clients.  Thankfully that led him to KCA Wealth Management!!

Justin and his high school sweetheart of 19 years and wife of 10 years, Tiffany, now live in Harrisburg with their two dogs Norman and Eddie.  They love to travel and enjoy sampling the food & music locally when they travel.  Justin also likes to spend his free time playing soccer or watching his favorite team, Arsenal.  He is also an avid car and racing enthusiast and is currently rebuilding a 1974 Chevy Nova.

I started working in high school as a lifeguard to get a little sun, help some people and save some money to buy a car. I realized early in life that hard work gives a great sense of self-worth and assisting people was my calling in life. My parents worked hard all of their lives and provided all they could for our family. I attended college and began a career in Hospitality Management where I was able to continue assisting people.

Kim's role in our practice:

Kim assists with the client experience by working with Porscha and Pam in arranging client events, scheduling meetings and also with some of the marketing/social media information we deliver.

My Bio:

Kim attended Millersville University and studied accounting and business. During her college years she accepted a position with Marriott and soon became a manager. During her 20-year history with Marriott she received multiple awards and recognition for her work. Kim's background and experience includes customer service, management, auditing, quality control and most importantly doing everything with a smile. KCA Wealth Management is proud to have Kim on our team in order to continue our commitment to service our clients.

Kim lives in Camp Hill with her husband Brian and their son Caelan. Kim also assists in caring for Brian's mother Carol who has Alzheimer's. In Kim's spare time she enjoys working out, yoga, shopping, travel and some R&R.

Kim was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Sydney, Australia.   After moving to San Francisco, Kim started her career in the then new field of technology.  Years later, Kim relocated to the Asia Pacific region where Kim was able to take her technology experience and apply it in the finance industry.  Kim graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a degree in the Management of Information Systems.

 

After more than 20 years working at major US Financial Institutions across the globe, Kim has furthered her skills and demonstrated experience to include Leadership, People, Operations, Business Management and Project/Process Management.


After moving to the NYC area, Kim became involved in charity work such as Strengthen Our Sisters, a non-profit providing emergency shelters to women and children, and Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue.  She was a board member of the NJ Fallen Soldiers Foundation from 2001 until 2008.  With three children, now all adults and successfully pursuing their own goals, her coaching days are done, and Kim is looking forward to spending more time participating in her hobbies such as golf, tennis, sailing and photography.   With her family living in geographically diverse locations, Kim believes that holidays are not a place or date, but rather where and when the family can be together.

Andrew Devitt passed away on 10/25/2011, and was a valuable member of our team and a Vice President, with Kennedy Advisors Key Financial Group LLC. He began his career with Prudential Financial in 1995. During his 10 year association with Prudential, Andrew owned and operated his own office, providing insurance and investment advice to over 2000 clients in Pennsylvania and Maryland. He qualified for Prudential’s Award conferences and earned The President’s Citation, recognizing superior performance and outstanding achievement as an insurance and investment professional.

A Dauphin County, PA native, Andrew earned his undergraduate degree from Shippensburg University. He was a member of The National Association of Insurance and Financial Professionals since 1995. Andrew was matriculated with the American College and College of Financial Planning.

Andrew had been certified by The Corporation for Long Term Care,Inc. as a (CLTC) graduate. CLTC stands for "Certified in Long-Term Care," a designation granted by the Corporation For Long-Term Care Certification. CLTC graduates have completed a rigorous multidisciplinary course that focuses on the profession of long-term care. The program is recognized by state regulators, through the granting of continuing education credits, as having provided essential information necessary to the appropriate sale of long-term care insurance.

He was an instructor and public speaker for many local financial, educational courses and seminars.

Having completed the FINRA exam requirements for Series 6 and 63. He was insurance-licensed in Pennsylvania.

Andrew earned the A.C.E.S. achievement award recognizing young business leaders.

Andrew is survived by his two children A.J. and Carson.
